Swiggy, Bounce join forces to accelerate EV adoption among delivery partner

Swiggy,
India’s pioneering on-demand convenience platform, announced that it has
partnered with Bounce, India’s leading full-stack electric mobility company, to
accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles amongst its delivery partners.
This collaboration aims to make electric mobility more accessible and
affordable for thousands of Swiggy and Instamart delivery partners.
Additionally, this initiative is a step toward reducing the carbon footprint of
hyperlocal deliveries while significantly lowering operating costs for delivery
partners.
In
Phase 1 of this partnership, Bounce will deploy electric scooters across Delhi
NCR and Bengaluru over the next three months. These vehicles will be available
on the Bounce Daily app as well as Swiggy’s Delivery Partner app at special
pricing exclusively for Swiggy and Instamart delivery partners. Bounce will
handle the complete deployment, management, and maintenance of these vehicles,
ensuring a seamless experience for riders.
Swiggy
already has 50+ EV partners in the ecosystem at a Pan-India level to ensure EV
accessibility to its delivery partners, and this partnership with Bounce is
aimed at furthering this cause to help a steady supply of EVs to our fleet.

The
partnership also includes a unique engagement initiative for delivery partners—
the Swiggy Bounce Raja campaign. The campaign was designed to encourage the
adoption of EVs and increase awareness. Under this campaign, a Swiggy delivery
partner riding a Bounce scooter and completing the highest number of orders
during the contest period wins a free Bounce Electric scooter. So far, two
successful campaigns have been conducted, one in May and the second in July
this year. The winner of the first campaign has already received an electric
scooter.
